1806-1814: France was divided in 130 departements. Following maps (1814)are a gift from Daniel Debus. We made a cut to show the east of France including Alsace.

Added to the five arrondissement Wissembourg, Saverne, Strasbourg, Selestat, Colmar, Belfort and Altkirch, two more arrondissements were added between 1789 and 1815 under Napoleon, and then given back to Switzerland: Delemont, Porrentruy.
